This is a brief guided meditation for mindful breathing. It includes awareness of the breath as it moves in and out of the body, followed by breathing in peace, breathing out calm. After the mindful breathing, awareness is brought to the felt sense through Focusing, as a way to deepen the experience and carry it forward. It can be done alone or combined with journaling and expressive arts.
This practice of mindful breathing is based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh.
